Medical Value Chain (MVC) Advances Pharmaceutical Traceability in Bahrain with Successful Training Sessions and Announces New App for Medicine Authentication
Manama, Bahrain – February 4, 2025 – MVC has successfully conducted a series of comprehensive training sessions for government officials, manufacturers, importers, distributors and dispensers in Bahrain. These sessions were aimed at enhancing the understanding and utilization of the upgraded NHRA-MVC Traceability Hub, ensuring compliance with Bahrain’s Legislative Decree No. 41 of 2017, which mandates a Track and Trace System for pharmaceuticals.

The latest NHRA-MVC System has been live for over two months, and its new automated, AI-powered EPCIS data quality checks enhance compliance with the Kingdom of Bahrain’s EPCIS requirements.
However, some MAHs have yet to complete the necessary steps to transition to the latest NHRA-MVC System. If your company is among them, you may currently be NON-COMPLIANT with Supreme Council of Health Legislative Decree No. 41 of 2017. Download the latest announcement here.
